Salvador J. Lopez
Attorney / Founder
Attorney Salvador J. Lopez has spent his career fighting for everyday people against banks and big companies. He believes the case always belongs to the client, and that the lawyer's job is to help the client reach their goals — explaining everything clearly along the way.
He began his career helping people with disabilities and later joined the Legal Assistance Foundation (LAF), where he found his calling in consumer protection. There he fought — in and out of court — cases involving mortgage fraud, predatory loans, foreclosures, and bankruptcy.
A native of Chicago's South Chicago neighborhood, he earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He devotes more than 100 hours a year to pro bono work with groups like Chicago Volunteer Legal Services (CVLS), and he has been interviewed by Univisión and Telemundo Chicago on consumer rights.
